Studio Vertu is located in the history rich neighborhood of Cincinnati, named Over The Rhine.  Strange name for a neighborhood you say!  Not so in Cincinnati.  Originally settled by German immigrants, the southern half of the Eire Canal clogged along just north of the main business district of Cincinnati – the citizens referred to it as The Rhine.  So, when you were downtown and going to the neighborhood just over the bridges of the canal you were going “Over The Rhine”!
 
The building that houses Studio Vertu was originally built in the early 1920’s for the file industry as a distribution center.  Because of the flammable nature of these old films, we found many storage ‘vaults’ throughout the building.  These rooms have walls that are solid brick and eighteen inches think.  Let’s talk about a secure space!
