The MarbleCoasters.com Florence Trip Giveaway (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored by MarbleCoasters.com ("Sponsor"). Sweepstakes begins Oct. 31, 2008, and ends Dec. 31, 2008, at 12 midnight (Eastern Standard Time).
1. ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal U.S. citizens (void in Puerto Rico), 18 years of age or older, with a valid United States passport, except to employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and the immediate family members of Sponsor, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion agencies and promotion partners. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Guest of winner must be 18 years old or older, unless the winner selects one his/her minor child/ward as the allowed guest.
2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: You can enter this Sweepstakes via the
Internet at MarbleCoasters.com. Use a computer to access the Sweepstakes section of the MarbleCoasters.com Web site. Completely fill out information requested on the Entry Form (“Entry Form”) and then transmit the Entry Form by clicking the “Submit” button. Information requested on Entry Form consists of your name, address
(including ZIP code), phone number (including area code), date of birth and Email address. There is a limit of one entry per computer IP address. To be eligible, all Internet entries for Sweepstakes must be received by Dec. 31, 2008, at 12 midnight (Eastern Standard Time). Entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), illegible, incomplete, misdirected, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules will be disqualified.
3. SELECTION OF WINNER: Winner will be selected in random drawing from all eligible entries on or about Jan. 5, 2009, by Sponsor, whose decisions are final in all respects. One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected from all entrants who entered at MarbleCoasters.com. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the drawing.
Potential winner will be notified by e-mail or phone on/about Jan. 5, 2009. If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been exerted during three (3) days from the date of the Sweepstakes drawing, or if he/she is found to be ineligible, or if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, an alternate winner may be selected.
4. PRIZE:
GRAND PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize winner will win a trip for two (2) to Florence, Italy. The Grand Prize includes round-trip coach class airfare for two (2) departing from the major U.S. airport nearest to winner's home, accommodations for two (2) for five (5) nights (standard room; double occupancy) at the hotel of Torre di Bellosguardo, Florence, Italy. Grand Prize also includes a daylight tour of San Gimignano in the province of Siena, Tuscany, Italy. All incidental expenses and taxes not specified herein will be the sole responsibility of the winners and his/her guests, including without limitation, federal and state taxes, other ground transportation, food and beverages. Travel and lodging must be taken between March 24-30, 2009, and are subject to availability and certain travel restrictions. Blackout dates may apply. Winners and guest must travel on the same itinerary. Grand Prize Winner and his/her guest are solely responsible for obtaining Passports, Visas and/or any other governmental permissions required to travel to and from Grand Prize destination. If winners and guests are unable to obtain appropriate travel documents that permit travel, then prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Approximate Grand Prize value: $5,000. (Prize value is subject to location of winner and fares in effect at the time of departure). No cash or prize substitution is allowed except at the discretion of the Sponsor. Prize is not transferable. Total approximate value of Sweepstakes Grand Prize: $5,000.
5. CONDITIONS: By entering, participants agree to be bound by these
complete Official Rules. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All applicable federal, state and local taxes are the responsibility of prize winner(s). Sponsor, their officers, directors, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies are not responsible for, (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, stolen, postage due or illegible entries; (ii) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or usage of the prize; or (iii) printing, distribution or production errors. Return of prize or prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification
and an alternate winner may be selected. Entry and/or acceptance of prize(s) constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use the winner’s name, address (city and state) and/or likeness for advertising and trade purposes without further compensation or authorization, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known and hereafter devised, including without limitation Internet, unless prohibited by law. Winner and winner's guests will be required to complete, sign, notarize and return an Affidavit of Eligibility & Liability / Publicity Release (If winner's guest is/are winner's minor child/ward, then winner must complete, sign, notarize and return an additional Affidavit of Liability / Publicity Release on behalf of child/ward. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the winner, and an alternate winner will be selected. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Sweepstakes will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, Sponsor at its sole discretion reserves the right to modify or cancel the Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited.
6. DISCLAIMERS: Sponsor is not liable for losses or injuries of any kind
resulting from acceptance/possession and/or use/misuse of prize, participation in Sweepstakes, or any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer Internet system, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, or any entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), tampered with, garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, forged, illegible, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. Sponsor is not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to an entrant’s or third person’s computer and/or its contents, related to or resulting from Sweepstakes.
